SOUND CREATOR / PRODUCER
myhandisyours is a solo project by Kumi Nitta.
Her work often expresses concepts like "Emotional" or "Dreaming," with inspiration from her hobbies such as novels, anime, and art.
She has also been strongly influenced by her "other house in the forest," where she spent a lot of time in her childhood years.
She had been learning music, including classical piano, since the age of 5, and received influence from Jazz and R&B. Later, she started making electronic music.
Field recording is one of her pastimes, and her music often includes samplings of natural sounds that she herself recorded.
After living in New York for a long time, she is now based in Tokyo and active in the international scene.

EmotionalやDreamingという言葉で曲を表現される事が多い彼女は小説やアニメーション、アートといった趣味からのインスピレーションと幼少の頃に多くの時間を過ごした”森の中の別宅”という空間から強く影響を受けており、これまでもオリジナリティ溢れる楽曲を数多くリリース、ファッションブランドやアーティストに提供してきた。
5歳からクラシックピアノと声楽を学び、JazzやR&Bにも影響を受けて、その後は電子音楽を作るようになる。
また、フィールドレコーディングが趣味で、曲中では自身で録音した自然音のサンプリングも多く使われている。
現在は東京をベースにワールドワイドに活動中。
